Do you ever catch yourself shrinking back?
Do you ever hide your struggles and life from those around you?
This past week I have contemplated deleting my website and all my social media accounts.
Why?!
Because I feel less than.
Because I am struggling.
Because I just want to shrink back and hide.
When I read this quote by one of my favorite authors/speakers it was such a breath of fresh air. I needed to hear these words because I am struggling.
I often wonder when will I finally get it?!
When will I cease to exist in a world where I feel alone and unimportant?!
When will I finally hit my health/fitness goals?!
When will I see my dreams come true?!
The real truth is no path is easy. No journey comes without bumps and bruises. No amount of success comes without consistency and tenacity. We will all stumble and fall but, we each have a choice. We can choose to get up and fight again or we can choose to shrink back and pretend we don’t exist.
This is me fighting!
I will continue to pick myself back up.
I will continue to share my brokenness.
I will continue to fight for success.
I will continue to fight to dream.
And I will continue to fight alongside other women struggling because that is my purpose and passion in this life.
So, what if I am struggling right now… that is no reason to give up and quit! And you need not quit either!!
Get up. Dust yourself off. Fight another day!
